In this article, we’ll pay attention to the clog. Or rather; an ode to the clog. Those familiar with this great footwear will agree: clogs (or mules, as we like to call them at Wolky) are one of the most versatile shoes you could ever buy.

The origin of the clog
Clogs originate in – how could it be otherwise – the old-fashioned wooden clog. Already in the Middle Ages, men discovered the convenience of this sturdy model that supported the feet well. Although the footwear has now undergone a considerable transformation, you can still see the facial features of the wooden clog. But what makes this footwear so special?
Sloppy seconds
Many people have shoes at home that they wear around the house. Often these are slippers, flip-flops, or worn-out old shoes. When you think about how often you actually wear these shoes, you soon realize that this is more than you think.
