Hi! It’s me again, Dr. Shoe! And today I’m going to tell you about bunions (hallux valgus) and what we’ve developed for them. Bunions are those painful bumps and growths at your big toe joints. They seem to be becoming more and more common as time goes on. Bunions can be hereditary, but they are often caused by many years of wearing shoes that pinch. They’re a real nuisance, those sore feet. But we have the answer. Namely: our HV shoes! ‘HV’ stands for hallux valgus. The last these shoes are made on is slightly wider at the point where you need extra room if you have bunions. And this solves two problems at once: you take the pressure off the pinch point and prevent the problem from getting worse!
